Backup circuit board for blackout protection
After repeated outages in Birchgrove, a homeowner wanted key circuits to stay powered from their battery. We split off a backup board covering fridge, lighting and data, wired through the existing battery's backup output. Jobs like this between Birchgrove Park and Yurulbin Point are part of our regular Birchgrove run, so callouts here rarely wait long. It's a pattern we see across Birchgrove: a leafy peninsula suburb of heritage workers cottages and waterfront estates where salt air exposure accelerates corrosion of outdoor switchboards and safety switches.
