IC-rated downlights for a re-insulated ceiling
After a Lidcombe home had its ceiling insulation topped up, the old downlights were no longer insulation-contact rated. We swapped every fitting for IC-rated LEDs safe to cover with insulation. Lidcombe falls inside postcode 2141 on our Inner West route, so we quote up front and finish to AS/NZS 3000 with a compliance certificate. Most of the housing on this side of Lidcombe is post-war brick, so we planned cable routes and fixing points around that before touching a tool.
