Tripping RCD isolated to an outdoor GPO
A safety switch in Strathfield kept tripping whenever it rained. We isolated the fault to water ingress in an outdoor power point, replaced it with a weatherproof IP-rated unit and resealed the cable entry. Jobs like this between Strathfield Square and Strathfield Station are part of our regular Strathfield run, so callouts here rarely wait long. It's a pattern we see across Strathfield: large stock of Federation-era homes with original wiring — ceramic fuseboards and unshielded VIR cabling are still common finds.
