Buzzing switchboard traced to a failing breaker
An audible buzzing from the switchboard in Kingsgrove was reported before it got worse. We found a breaker with a degraded internal contact, replaced it and thermal-imaged the board to rule out other hot spots. Kingsgrove falls inside postcode 2208 on our Canterbury-Bankstown route, so we quote up front and finish to AS/NZS 3000 with a compliance certificate. Kingsgrove is largely post-war brick, and that stock tends to dictate how much of the existing wiring we can reuse on a job like this.
