IC-rated downlights for a re-insulated ceiling
After a Putney home had its ceiling insulation topped up, the old downlights were no longer insulation-contact rated. We swapped every fitting for IC-rated LEDs safe to cover with insulation. Putney falls inside postcode 2112 on our Ryde/Hills route, so we quote up front and finish to AS/NZS 3000 with a compliance certificate. Putney is largely waterfront homes, and that stock tends to dictate how much of the existing wiring we can reuse on a job like this.
