Portable appliance testing and tagging for workplaces

Compliant portable appliance testing to AS/NZS 3760 for offices, hospitality, construction and industrial sites. Digital register, colour-coded tags, and reminders when you're due.

## What's included
- AS/NZS 3760 test and tag on portable appliances
- Colour-coded tags for at-a-glance compliance
- Digital register with next-due dates
- 3, 6 and 12-monthly service cycles
- Construction site pre-hire testing
- New-to-service testing on incoming equipment

## Overview
Test and tag is the workplace safety check on every plug-in appliance — kettles, monitors, extension leads, power tools, kitchen equipment, chargers — required by AS/NZS 3760 and enforced by WHS regulators, insurers and construction principals. We test to the standard, tag every item with a colour-coded sticker, and hand you a digital register that tracks what's on site, what's passed, what's failed and when each item is next due.
Frequency depends on the environment: office and admin equipment is typically every 12 months; hospitality, kitchens and hire equipment every 6 months; construction and industrial every 3 months. We run scheduled visits on that cycle, remind you before the next round, and can also test any new-to-service equipment before it hits the floor.
Failed items are tagged out immediately, photographed for the register, and quoted for repair or replacement — so you keep a defensible paper trail for WHS and insurance.

## Fixed pricing
$6–$15 AUD per item. Workmanship warranty 12 months. Typical on-site duration ~3 hours.

## Symptoms we hear about

## FAQs
**How often do I need to test and tag?**
Office and low-risk environments: every 12 months. Hospitality, kitchens and hire: every 6 months. Construction and industrial: every 3 months. New-to-service items: before first use.

**How much does test and tag cost per item?**
$4.90-$7.50 per item depending on volume and site. Minimum callout $180. We quote a fixed rate for sites with 100+ items or ongoing contracts.

**Do you provide a digital register?**
Yes — every item is logged in a digital register with test date, result, tester name and next-due date. Emailed to you as PDF and CSV.

**What happens if an item fails?**
It's tagged out immediately with a red 'DO NOT USE' tag, photographed, and quoted for repair or replacement. Failed items are logged separately so your WHS records are clean.

**Can you test at construction sites?**
Yes — 3-monthly cycles on construction tools and leads, on-site attendance with the appropriate PPE and induction paperwork.

**Do you send a reminder when I'm due again?**
Yes — email reminders 30 days before the next round is due, so you don't get caught out on an audit.
